tn safari park

This Sunday, May 24, we're heading to the Tennessee Safari Park! We'll leave the church at 1 PM and return by 6.  The cost is $8/child and $12/adult.  If we can get a group of 15, the cost drops to $10/adult.  Sign up in the church office or see Anna if you'd like to go!  For more, please click here.

Baccalaureate for our high school grads is Sunday, May 10 at 8 PM, at the Dickey Fine Arts building on the campus of Bethel University.  Their Commencement is May 17 at 3 PM, at the MHS gym.

memphis annual conference

The 176th session of the Memphis Annual Conference will be May 31-June 3 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and the First United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN.  An annual conference is the basic organizational unit in United Methodism, one which celebrates our shared ministry; casts vision for, createsand participates in mission; teaches and equips members of the conference; prepares and sets budgets; licenses, commissions, and ordains clergy; fixes pastoral appointments; and elects delegates to General and Jurisdictional Conferences.  For more information about this year's gathering, please click here.
